EB0280-101-13 TRIZYM DRAGEE X 50

COMPOSITION:
Viveral (active enzymes of pancreas: Lipase 50 U, Amylase 60 U, and Trypsin 81 U) 210 mg, Chemicellulose 50 mg, Bile extract 25 mg in one dragee.

ACTION:
Enzyme drug which contributes to the degradation of fats, carbohydrates, proteins and cellulose ingested with food. Lipase degrades fats to glycerine and fatty acids. Amylase catalytically degrades polysaccharides to maltose, and disaccharides (ordinary sugar) to glucose - an indispensable condition for utilization of foods containing starch. Trypsin degrades proteins to peptides and amino acids, thus quaranteening their absorption in the intestines. Bile extract potentiates the action of lipase and has a choleretic effect, at the same time intensifying the absorption of fatty acids and fat-soluble vitamins A, E and K. Chemicellulose degrades the cellulose ingested with vegetables and fruits whose digestion is not possible in the human body, so it remains as rough insoluble matter in the gastrointestinal tract and creates conditions for meteorism in case of disturbed intestinal flora. The dragees are dissolved in the small intestines where the action of the enzymes takes place.

INDICATIONS:
Diseases resulting from secretory insufficiency of the digestive glands, pancreas in partucular: dyspepsia, meteorism (with or without concomitant cholecystitis), chronic pancreatitis and gastroenteritis, gastrocardiac symptomocomplex; for elimination of gases from the intestines prior to radiography; postoperative treatment of diseases of the duodenum, large intestines and biliary ducts; for avoidance and treatment of digestive disturbances due to impeded mastication or after jaw operations; for prevention of gastrointestinal disturbances when pharmaceuticals are taken (antibiotics, sulfonamides, antiphlogistic agents, ect.)

CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Severe hepatic diseases, obstruction of the biliary ducts.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
1-2 dragees, three times daily, during meals or immediately after meals. The dragees are swallowed without chewing. In severe and refractory cases the dosage can be doubled. For preparation for X-ray and echography - 2 dragees, 3 times daily, for 2-3 days prior to the examination.

MEDICINAL FORM AND PACKAGE:
