- COMPOSITION:
Phytin 250 mg in one tablet.
Phytin substance in an acid calcium-magnesium salt of inosite-phosphoric
acids.
ACTION:
Phytin is a product of plant origin with very well manifested
general strengthening and tonic action for the body. Vegetative
phytin (lecithin) is administered to intensify the growth of the
osseous tissue, to stimulate hematopoiesis, to improve the activity
of the nervous system in conditions associated with phosphorus
deficiency in the body, in addition to its general tonic action,
involving improved metabolism.
INDICATIONS:
Physical and mental fatigue, as a special nervous tonic agent in
diseases of the nervous system (hysteria, neurasthenia, sexual
impotence), secondary anemia (in combination with iron drugs),
diseases of bones (rickets, osteomalacia, fractures), vascular
hypotension, for enhanced physical endurance among sportsmen.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:

SIDE EFFECTS:
Disturbances in the calcium metabolism can be observed after
prolonged administration of high doses (phytic acid forms insoluble
salts with calcium and magnesium, and favors their higher excretion
out of the body).
PRECAUTIONS:
The intake of calcium-rich products (milk and dairy products is
recommended during treatment).
DRUG INTERACTIONS:
The effect is enhanced by simultaneous intake of calcium drugs.
Plasma calcium should be monitored during long-term intake.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
1-2 tablets, 3-4 times daily, for several weeks. For children: from
2 to 6 years - 0.25-0.5 g (1-2 tablets), from 6 to 10 years -
0.5-1.0 g daily (2-4 tablets).
MEDICINAL FORM AND PACKAGE:
Packages with 40 tablets of 250 mg.
STORAGE:
At moderate temperature (15-30° C).
EXPIRY:
5 (five) years.
