Pethidine hydrochloride 2 % - 10 ml in one ampoule.
ACTION:
A synthetic narcotic of the piperidine group, analogous in
chemical structure to a part of themorphine molecule. Lydol is a
strong analgesic drug, its effect is shorterlived and weaker
than that of morphine. Its spasmolytic effect results from

suitable for pains of a spastic nature. Repeated application
leads to addiction and drug-dependence.
PHARMACOKINETICS:
Lydol is well absorbed after oral and parenteral administration.

administration and 10 min after parenteral application. The
maximum effect comes about 2 h after its oral administration and
1 h after parenteral application.

enhanced. The effect of Lydol is reduced by buprenorphine.
