- COMPOSITION:
Aminophenazone - 250 mg
Noraminopyrine methansulfonate sodium - 250 mg
in one tablet
ACTION:
Pain-relieving, antipyretic and antiphlogistic agent, combining the
therapeutic qualities of the two components.
Aminophenazone reduces the elevated body temperature through
inhibition of the thermoregulatory center and dilation of the
peripheral blood vessels, which leads to intensive heat release and
profuse perspiration. It has pain-relieving (through restriction of
the perception of pain impulses by the brain cortex), sedative and
hypotensive effects (through vasodilation, because it suppresses the
vasomotor center). It also has antiexudative, antiphlogistic and
antirheumatic action, by reducing the permeability of capillaries.
Noraminodopyrine has similar effects, but with a strong analgesic,
antineuralgic and spasmolytic action.
Its mechanism of action, similar to all non-steroid antiphlogistic
agents, is explained by the inhibition of prostaglandins synthesis.
INDICATIONS:
Headache, migraine, toothache, neuralgia, rheumatic pain, colds,
dysmenorrhea. |
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Hypersensitivity to the drug (or its components). Granulocytopenia
and agranulocytosis; diabetes (increases glucosuria); tendency to
cardiac edema.
SIDE EFFECTS:
Allergic reactions are likely to occur (skin rashes, urticaria,
labial herpes); nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite are rarely
observed, leukopenia.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Usually - 1-2 tablets, 2-3 times daily (recommended after meals).
MEDICINAL FORM AND PACKAGE:
Packages of 6 tablets.
STORAGE:
At moderate temperature (15-30° C).
EXPIRY:
2 (two) years.
