StockNo Product description
EB0280-443-04 CLENBUTEROL SYRUP 100ML 1ML/0.001MG

COMPOSITION:
Clenbuterol hydrochloride 0.001 mg - 1 ml of syrup

ACTION:
Clenbuterol has a prolonged and strong bronchodilating effect due to stimulation of the beta-2-adrenoreceptors of the bronchopulmonary system and through a direct myotropic action on the bronchial musculature. It possesses secretolytic activity by liquefying the viscous secreta, and facilitates their elimination.

PHARMACOKINETICS:
The preparation has a good absorbtion and prompt initial effect, with maximum action between the 2nd and the 3rd hour.

INDICATIONS:
For treatment of bronchial asthma, asthmatic bronchitis, chronic and acute spastic bronchitis, pulmonary emphysema, etc.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Clenbuterol should not be applied during the first 3 months of pregnancy. It should be administered cautiously to pregnant women on account of its tocolytic action.

SIDE EFFECTS:
Tremor of the limbs, anxiety and tachycardia may be observed very rarely in the initial stage of treatment, disappearing after the dose is reduced.

DRUG INTERACTIONS:
The effect of Clenbuterol may be decreased and the bronchodilaing effect may even disappear during combined therapy with betaadrenergic blockers. Simultaneous administartion of Clenbuterol with cardiac glucosides provokes disturbances of the cardiac rhythm and increases their toxicity. Rhythmic disturbances are also observed after combined therapy with MAO-inhibitors and theophylline. Clenbuterol weakens the effects of insulin and sulfanylurea antidiabetic drug. Clenbuterol and sympatomimetics potentiate mutually their toxicity.
