CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Hypertrophy of prostate gland and glaucoma.
SIDE EFFECTS:
Xerostomia, slight disturbances and eruptions are possible.
Appearance of excitement and perplexity may be observed in children
who are more sensitive to atropine.
DRUG INTERACTIONS:
The preparation should be applied carefully simultaneously with
sedative and narcotic drugs because a potentiation is possible with
codeine. Owing to the presence of the enzyme inductor phenobarbital,
the metabolism of most remedies is accelerated and their effect is
decreased.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Adults - orally one tablet after meals or one suppository rectally;
in case of bad pains, the preparation is administered 3-4 times
daily.
The tablets are dissolved in some water before use.
Children - rectally 1-2 suppositories for children daily. The dose
is determined according to the age and the gravity of the disease.
MEDICINAL FORM AND PACKAGE:
Tablets in packs of 10.
Suppositories for children and adults - in packs of 5.
STORAGE:
At moderate temperature (15-30° C).
EXPIRY:
Suppositories - 3 (three) years.
Tablets - 2 (two) years.
