 Phenobarbital  15 mg  7.5 mg  20 mg
 Aminophenazon  150 mg  75 mg  150 mg

ACTION:
A preparation which combines the spasmolytic action of a cholinolytic and myotropic agent with the analgesic action of a non-narcotic analgesic drug (+ narcotic - in suppositories for adults). The combination of the spasmolytic action on the smooth muscles with the analgesic action of aminophenazon and the sedative action of phenobarbital is very successful. Papaverine suppresses the spasms of the smooth muscles. Atropine blocks M-cholinoreceptors of the smooth muscles and increases the spasmolytic effect of papaverine. The analgesic, antipyretic and spasmolytic action of aminophenol is added to the effects described above. Phenobarbital increases the analgesic effect of aminophenazon and codeine. Euspasmin possesses a myotropic spasmolytic effect, stronger than that of papaverine.

INDICATIONS:
Spastic conditions of the smooth muscle organs: stomach, intestines, biliary and urinary tracts, crises in lithiasis of biliary and renal origin; bronchial asthma, spastic cough, dysmenorrhoea, functional labyrinth disturnabces.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Hypertrophy of prostate gland and glaucoma.

SIDE EFFECTS:
Xerostomia, slight disturbances and eruptions are possible. Appearance of excitement and perplexity may be observed in children who are more sensitive to atropine.

DRUG INTERACTIONS:
The preparation should be applied carefully simultaneously with sedative and narcotic drugs because a potentiation is possible with codeine. Owing to the presence of the enzyme inductor phenobarbital, the metabolism of most remedies is accelerated and their effect is decreased.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Adults - orally one tablet after meals or one suppository rectally; in case of bad pains, the preparation is administered 3-4 times daily.
The tablets are dissolved in some water before use.
Children - rectally 1-2 suppositories for children daily. The dose is determined according to the age and the gravity of the disease.

MEDICINAL FORM AND PACKAGE:
